Tips for card wording

  • Keep the front short. A greeting of a few words reads best under a photo; save the longer note for the back or a handwritten line inside.
  • Name the pets. People love seeing the dog or cat get a mention, and it makes a mass-mailed card feel personal.
  • Not sure what everyone celebrates? "Happy Holidays" or "Season's greetings" with the faith-neutral tone suits almost any list.
  • Sending to someone grieving? The gentle tone keeps it warm without forced cheer.

Fitting it on our printable card

Our 5 × 7 card prints a greeting line and a sign-off under your portrait, up to 60 characters each. Every option above shows whether its greeting and sign-off fit. The longer message is for the back of the card, a note tucked inside, or a text or email.

Do you keep what I type?

Can I edit the messages?
