No. Upload separate photos of each pet (and of you, if you'd like to be in it), and we put everyone together in one portrait.

For each pet, 2 or 3 clear, well-lit photos from different angles, ideally at their eye level with the face and markings easy to see. One photo of a pet works, but more photos give a closer likeness. If you'd like to be in it, add at least 2 clear, close photos of your face, toward the camera and without sunglasses; we check that photos of people are clear enough before you order. In a group photo, tap the pet or person so we know which one they are. For an old print, photograph it flat in daylight, without glare.

No. You get digital files, sized to print beautifully up to 12 × 15 inches. Print at home, at a pharmacy photo counter or any print shop.

Every portrait is checked for likeness before you see it, and previews are free, so you see it before you pay. Likeness depends on your photos, so upload 2 or 3 clear ones of each pet and person; a new version after delivery is $5. Downloading a portrait's full-size files ends new versions for it. Yes. Up to 2 adults can join their pets, and each adult needs at least 2 clear, close photos. Portraits of children aren't available. In Illinois and Washington, portraits are of pets only.

Portraits are created with AI and checked by our likeness system. We say so openly.

Yes. Our In Memory styles (Wildflower Meadow, Garden at Dusk and Garden Together) are made for remembering a pet. Upload 2 or 3 of your favorite photos of them; clear, close photos give a closer likeness.

They're used only to make and check your portrait, and deleted 30 days after delivery, or 30 days after upload if you don't order. To check the likeness, automated software compares the portrait with your photos; for photo-style portraits that includes measuring and comparing faces. Those face measurements exist only for the few seconds each check takes and are never saved. We never use your photos to recognize or identify anyone, never use them to train AI, and never sell them. Usually, yes. Every order includes a one-page print release with your order number and date, giving permission to print your portrait anywhere for personal use. Bring it (or show it on your phone) if a store photo counter asks.

Previews usually take a few minutes; at the busiest times, up to 20. After you order, your portrait files are usually ready within minutes, and the 12-month calendar usually within the hour (at the busiest times, a few hours).
